How to make me smile

I got the nicest e-mail last night from a previous customer that I did some custom work for. They weren't able to order what they needed from Cafepress so I sent her the design with a copyright release so that they could get it printed through another company. I wasn't expecting any compensation as I did it for fun, all I asked was that they sent me one of their magnets once they were finished but they were kind enough to send me a check along with the magnet as a thank you. Thank you for your kind words Amy! You really put a smile on my face. She is such a nice person. I'm so happy things worked out well for her and her school.

Here is what the e-mail said:

Remember me from Gower Elementary?!

I have been meaning to let you know what a hit your bumper sticker design has been.  EVERYone has a bumper sticker; I see them all over Nashville.  It makes me proud!  And the PTO this year used the design on standard school attire shirts in all different colors that all the kids are now wearing.  (The logo is on printed one side of the chest, like an Izod or Polo logo.)  So you have had an influence in a city you may have never visited!

I appreciate your willingness to sell us the design, especially at such a low price.  It really has made a PR difference for our school.  We have by far the cutest school bumper sticker in the city- and I'm not kidding!

Hope you're well, wherever you are!, and hope your business is thriving.

Amy
